Born into television as the daughter of actor and director, Robert Montgomery, Elizabeth Montgomery began her Hollywood career in his popular series Robert Montgomery Presents. Most of us know her as nose-twitching Samantha in Bewitched, but later she did all she could to get away from the amiable and friendly character. She was nominated for Emmy Awards in A Case of Rape where she played a rape victim, and also for The Legend of Lizzie Borden, where she portrayed the murderess killer, Lizzie Borden.
