There were no rivalries between the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. In fact, Bob Dylan was pals with the members of the Rolling Stones. Dylan even attended Mick Jagger's 29th birthday party in New York City where this photo of the two of them with Rolling Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards, was taken. Bob Dylan once called the Rolling Stones “the greatest rock and roll band in the world and always will be.” Keith Richards did his own share of gushing, saying “I’d work with Bob anytime, anywhere. I’d work with Bob in hell or heaven. I love him.”

Tough guy actor Jack Palance, who had already enjoyed a long and successful career in films and on television, was tapped to host a documentary-style television series, “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!” which debuted in 1982 on ABC. The show introduced viewers to the strange, mystifying, and bizarre oddities, people, and events that defy explanation. The series ran from 1982 to 1986. During that time, Palance had three co-hosts. The first was actress Catherine Shirriff and the last was singer Marie Osmond, but he had a special connection with the middle one. It was his own daughter, Holly Palance.
