Song Meanings, Lyrics, And Facts

This is your one stop shop for in-depth, detailed articles about the song meanings and facts/trivia about music that came out in the 1960s, 1970s, and some from the late '50s. Early '80s music (pop hits and some that aren't as famous) is also included, because no actual decade "ends" when it technically ends. The '60s started in the '50s, and the 1970s were still the '60s for at least three years before what we see as the iconic years of the '70s even started. From song lyric meanings, to famous misheard song lyrics, and the words to all the most famous music from the '60s (and the "groovy era"), try and find your favorite song and read up on how it came to be. You can read wiki pages or sit down and read a bunch of interviews, but we should have you covered if you want to know anything about your favorite songs from your childhood (or your parents' childhood). If we're missing a song that you love, let us know on Facebook and we'll give it over to our writers and editors to make into an interesting article about that song, if there's something interesting there. Look around, see what's what. ✌
