If you remember anything at all about the 1970s, then you surely know that Led Zeppelin was one of the biggest rock groups of their time. At the time, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham were quite possibly the best thing since sliced bread.

Stairway to Heaven was not only a song, but had become an anthem. The original version was a whopping 8 minutes long. While listening to it, it was easy to drift away and get lost in the moment. Somehow, the song was just so entrancing. The vocals were mellow, and the music was played with passion. This particular song was a milestone for the group. It gave Led Zeppelin the ability to showcase  their talents both individually and as a group.
