Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band – The Movie!

After the Beatles had retired from touring, Paul McCartney came up with the concept for a new song about an Edwardian era military band; i.e., Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. After the song was recorded, McCartney thought it would be a great idea to compose and release an entire album around the song. Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band would be the title track and the album would revolve around the concept of the fictitious military band, as a story plays out.
