Here we have Tina Turner, owning the stage as usual. The original ‘Queen Bee Diva’, strutting through the 60’s and 70’s like she owned the decades… which she kind of did. That amazing voice, all that sparkle, and legs for days. She was born to be an icon. Her reign continued throughout the 80’s after her divorce from Ike Turner. She rebuilt her career by launching a major comeback through live performances. Even today, while in semi-retirement, she remains one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. At the end of 2016, Turner announced that she has been working in collaboration with Phyllida Lloyd on Tina, a new musical based on her life story.
